你用甚麼 Player Software, 要 down sampling....
所以要 I2S 直入。

win7下，比較WASAPI與ASIO，我個人喜歡ASIO：感覺ASIO比較放，相對WASAPI就顯得有些保留似的。

其實用WASAPI聽，已感到不錯了。詢問過mdlover兄，他喜歡ASIO多的，我聽后也覺得ASIO好。

hi folks,

i have finally received my Apple TV and have successfully installed linux to replace the stock OS.






the player software called MPD and more info could be found here, http://mpd.wikia.com/wiki/Music_Player_Daemon_Wiki
you can install this on any computer running linux and not limited to apple tv.
however, i have to admit that it is not a easy task to set up especially if you are a native windows user and not familiar with linux.

i control the music playing process using an ipod touch and of coz you can use other hand held devices (please refer to mpd wiki)

i'm afraid there will be no vfd display and am not planning to use vfd.

just finished the machining of the chassis, the dimension is: 150 (w) x 240 (d) x 55 (h)














obviously, there is some extra space left inside and additional psu could be added but there is no room for an IEC socket on the back panel.

the machining of of the front panel is yet to be finished.

i remembered you have mentioned you are interested using "acrylic" front panel, right?

If using LED, then yes..... The box is a little bit small, Can you also do a hole for the I2s socket....
